USJ Women’s Lacrosse |
USJ women’s lacrosse finished their season with the best record in program history. The ladies finished with a 10-7 record overall, and a 6-7 record in the GNAC (Great Northeast Athletic Conference). Women’s lacrosse ended their season strong at home with a 17-7 victory against Albertus Magnus. Four different players scored against Albertus, and Kenzie Dinger led the Blue Jays with ten goals. Unfortunately, USJ women’s lacrosse was just short of making the playoffs. |
USJ Men’s Lacrosse |
USJ men’s lacrosse finished the regular season 9-8 overall, with a 5-5 record in the GNAC. The men ended the regular season with a blowout win against Albertus here at USJ, winning 20-4. USJ men’s lacrosse entered the playoffs as the sixth seed in the GNAC tournament, and upset Rivier on Saturday 8-6. They play in the semifinals against Lasell on Tuesday. |
USJ Softball |
USJ softball is currently 22-17 overall, with a 6-6 record in the GNAC. They are coming off of two away game victories against Regis College, winning game one 5-3 and game two 5-1. USJ softball will face off against Lasell Tuesday in the first round of the GNAC playoffs. |
USJ Men’s Tennis |
USJ men’s tennis finished their first season in program history with a 9-9 record overall, and a 1-2 record against teams in the GNAC. The men’s season ended in the GNAC semifinals against Colby Sawyer, but the men have made a statement in their first year as a program, having 4 matches where they swept their opponent (9-0 victory). |
USJ Baseball |
USJ baseball has had a strong season as a club team, currently having a record of 14-8. USJ baseball won their last eight out of nine games to close out the season, and ended their season with a 3-2 win against Castleton on USJ’s senior night. |
