USJ’s First Edible Book Festival: A Tasty Reimagining of Beloved Stories
Written by Isabella Rusate
Monday, April 1, USJ was proud to host the Edible Book Festival as a part of the Embracing our Environment series. Student, faculty, and staff were encouraged to submit an edible entry based on a book of their choosing. From fondant dragons to Emily Dickinson’s coconut cake recipe, there were no shortage of creative and delicious entries. In fact, there were 41 entries total, a smashing success for this event. Thank you to everyone who participated, and especially Dr. Martin for making this festival possible!
